Dan Edward Joslin, Jr.

Graveside services for Dan Edward Joslin, Jr., age 81, of Clarkesville will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 14, 2012 from the Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery in McCaysville, Georgia with Rev. Phil Demore officiating.

Mr. Joslin died on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at his residence.

Born on September 29, 1930 in Nashville, Tennessee, Mr. Joslin was the son of the late Dan and Margie Joslin, Sr. Mr. Joslin was a retired cattle farmer and businessman. He formerly owned Roach Sporting Goods in Atlanta and he was a member of Yonah Masonic Lodge #382 F&AM. In addition to his parents Mr. Joslin is preceded in death by his wife Helen Godfrey Joslin and sister Beverly Tedder.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Kathy J. and Hal Peel of Claxton, son and daughter in law Danny and Susan Joslin of Clarkesville, and grandchildren Tim Peel, John Peel, Michael Peel, and Kelly Peel all of Claxton, and Alekzander Joslin, Nikolas Joslin, and Kara Joslin all of Clarkesville.
