James Gill

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. James Gill, age 88 of Cleveland. Mr. Gill passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at his residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, April 14, 2012 from Christian Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Pilcher, Rev. Leon Arrowood and Rev. Bill Trotter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
MR. Gill was born on April 6, 1924 in Worth County, Georgia to the late William "Bill" Gill and Minnie Sheffeield Gill. He was a farmer and also worked for the Road Department in Hillsboro Florida. He was a member of Christian Baptist Church.
Mr. Gill is survived by his daughters Sharon Whitmire, Dahlonega; Betty Sheffield, Clermont; sons Ricky Dean Gill, Cleveland; William Wayne Gill, Clermont; Thomas Leon Robinson, Cornelia; Quintin Ingram Robinson, Cleveland; James Malcolm Mosely, Clermont; and John Irving Woods, Plant City, Fl.
He is also survived by his eighteen grandchildren, thirty nine great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm.
