Mildred B. Allison

Mildred B. Allison of Piedmont Road Gainesville, GA passed away Saturday April 7th 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Wed. April 11th 2012 at First Baptist Church Chapel on Green Street. The Rev. Bruce Fields and the Rev. Tim Strickland will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday April 10th, 2012.

A resident of Gainesville for many years, Mrs. Allison was born in Banks County and was the daughter of the late Fred and Manolia (Henderson) Rucker. She was a retired School teacher in the Gainesville City School System, Volunteer at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, George C. Allison; and sons, Mike Allison and Freddie Allison.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Audrey Allison of Gainesville; grandchildren, Will Allison and Erin Allison both of Gainesville; sister Frances Cox of Gainesville; and special niece, Carole Hudgins also of Gainesville. There are also a number of nieces and nephews surviving.
