Joseph Frances" Skip" Martin Jr.

Joseph Frances" Skip" Martin Jr. 64 of Dahlonega (previously of Somerset, New Jersey) passed away on April 2nd, 2012 at his residence.



Joseph had a lifelong love of golf, bowling, playing cards, football, casino's and Las Vegas. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and Dallas Cowboys fan.





He is survived by his wife of 29 years Barbara Martin of Dahlonega; children Melissa Ballew of Dahlonega, Barry Martin of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, and Bonnie Martin of New Jersey. 6 Grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.



Funeral Service will be held Saturday April 7th, 2012 at 2pm at Dahlonega Funeral Home Chapel.



The family will receive friends Saturday at 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.



In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org, in memory of Skip.
