Freddie E. DeFoor

Mr. Freddie E. DeFoor, age 66, of Clermont, Georgia, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012.

Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, April 6, 2012 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. DeFoor was a native of Tampa, FL but has lived in the Gainesville area for the past 25 years. He was born on November 24, 1943 and was the son of the late Hewlett Efton DeFoor and Ruthelle Yvonne (Shirley) DeFoor. He was in auto sales. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark DeFoor.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn (Dixon) DeFoor of Clermont; daughter, Detra DeFoor of Cumming; sons, Brian DeFoor of Dallas, GA; and Monte DeFoor of Clayton, GA; daughters, Dia DeFoor of Penscola, FL; Marquietta Brown, Dallas, GA; and Sherry Sipsy also of Dallas, GA; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
