Jackie Anderson Griffeth died March 26th while sleeping at her home in Gainesville, Georgia.

A memorial service for Jackie will be at First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville at 10AM, this Thursday, March 29, 2012. The church's address is 800 South Enota Drive, NE, Gainesville, GA 30501.

Jackie will be buried on Thursday at Arlington Cemetery in Sandy Springs next to her husband, Jim.

An accomplished student, mentor, musician and mother, Jackie graduated from the University of Georgia in 1948; received a Masters of Divinity from Columbia Seminary in 1988; loved singing and raised four children. We feel our Mom "did it right", loved the Lord and conveyed his grace throughout her life.

Jackie leaves many beautiful friends; Two sisters: Jo Gay of Indialantic Florida and Stu and Gerry Gregory of Bradenton Florida. Four children: Gary Lewis of Atlanta and two grandchildren Spencer and Catherine; Craig and Jackie Lewis of Gainesville and three grandchildren Josh, Phillip and Amy; Bruce and Belinda Lewis of Dawsonville and five grandchildren Christy, Landon, Arden, Austin and Andy; Linda and Ray Yates of Jefferson and four grandchildren Chad, Tori, Matthew and Tripp.
