Joseph Lemnal Brownlee

Mr. Joseph Lemnal Brownlee, Jr. age 78 of Commerce died Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Brownlee was born in Miami, FL to the late, Joseph L and Clara Estelle Brooks Brownlee. Mr. Brownlee was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Mission and was retired from USMC and also a high school teacher. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brownlee was preceded in death by his son, Roger A. Brownlee.

Mr. Brownlee is survived by his wife, Margaret Mary Schoppmeyer Brownlee of Commerce; sons, Michael J. Brownlee of Commerce and Kevin Brownlee of Santa Fe, NM; daughter, Patti Hobart of Winder.

Memorial service will be held Monday, March 26, at 1:00 PM from the St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Mission with Father Terry Crone officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 6-7 PM. The Rosary service will follow visitation Sunday night at 7:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Deacon John Burke, Jr. officiating.
