Beatrice Vickers White Westbrooks

Mrs. Beatrice Vickers White Westbrooks, age 94, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at her residence.


Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 pm Sunday March 25, 2012 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The Reverend Roger Dunagan and Reverend Phil Clark will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 pm Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the funeral home.


Mrs. Westbrooks was born May 28, 1917 and was the daughter of the late Ernest Andrew and Agnes (Benson) Vickers. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Joe M. White and Milton D. Westbrooks and a sister, Floyce Dunagan.


Mrs. Westbrooks is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharron W. and Steve McDonald of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Austin J. and Sue W. White of Ormand-by-the-Sea, FL; grandson, Jeffery T. White of Fredrick, MD; step-granddaughter and husband Wendy and Travis Mullis, Cleveland, GA; great-grandsons, Charles (Chaz) Mullis and Jared Mullis; great-granddaughter, Maddie Mullis; brother, Austin Vickers of Gainesville; sisters, Flora Landers of New Holland and Lillian Boyd of Gainesville; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.


The family also wishes to extend a special thanks to Meals-on-Wheels, Senior Life Center, Southern Care Hospice and Help-at-Home.
