James M. Cochran

James M. Cochran, age 55, of Homer, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2012.

Mr. Cochran was born on April 4, 1956, in Demorest, Georgia; a son of the late Julian Addy and Sarah Mildred Aaron Cochran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Cochran. Mr. Cochran was employed as an engineer at the Air Liquid Company, Inc. with 10 years of service and a member of the Damascus Baptist Church.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Dianne Cheek Cochran of Homer, Georgia.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Roy G. Rogers and Rev. Jim McLendon officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at the funeral home.
