Anthony "Lynn" Payne

Anthony "Lynn" Payne, age 51, of Cumming, GA, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012. Lynn spent most of his adult career in law enforcement with the city of Cumming Police and the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Payne.

Survivors include his children, Josh Payne, Emily Payne (Chris) Caldwell, Ashley Payne; mother, Betty Padgett Payne; sister and brothers; Lori (Kenneth) Mason, Kevin (Christy) Payne, Justin (Misty) Payne; 2 grandchildren, John and Nova Caldwell; one grandchild on the way, Bentlee Lynn and other loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Sorrells, Rev. Ricky Byrd and Rev. Donnie Nix officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
