Anita Kaye Watts Hooper

Anita Kaye Watts Hooper, 47, of Tiger, GA, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning, March 16, 2012 at her residence.



She was born April 9, 1964 in Rabun County to Jimmy Andrew and Shirley Mae Watts where she has been a life long resident. She enjoyed her church family and attended Persimmon Church of God. She worked at Savannah Street Café for many years. Anita was a loving mother, wife, and was a very caring person.



In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Hooper, Jr.



She is survived by her mother Shirley Mae Watts, of Clarkesville, GA; her devoted husband, Michael Lester Hooper, Sr.; one daughter, Jessica Hooper Garner and her husband Russell of Lakemont, GA; three brothers and their wives, Michael and Linda Watts of Cleveland, GA, Tony and Kelly Watts of Mt. Airy, GA, and Cody and Kimberly Watts of Cornelia, GA. Three nephews, Tyler Watts of Mt. Airy, GA, Josh Watts of Cleveland, GA, and Dustin Watts of Clarkesville, GA. and a great-nephew, Hunter Watts of Cleveland, GA also survive.



The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Persimmon Church of God with Rev. Teddy king and Rev. Glenville Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Tiger, GA.
