Betty Louise Cantrell

Betty Louise Cantrell, 76, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012, at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Dahlonega, GA. She was a member of
Dahlonega Baptist Church, but attended Community Chapel, Frog Town Community. She loved to baby sit for her family and friends, and loved sewing and bowling.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Amanda Gerrells; Husband, Bobby R. Palmer; brother, Wayne Gerrells; sister and brother in law, Nell and Eugene "Mucho" Moore.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Cantrell of Dahlonega, GA; son, Larry and Rhonda Palmer of Dawsonville, GA, Jimmy and Sarah Palmer of Jefferson, GA; stepson, Gorden and Audra Cantrell of Cleveland, GA.; sister, Jean and E. F. Trammell of Dahlonega, GA; brother, John and Jimmie Sue Gerrells of Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Justin, Kesa, Judson, Drew, Isaac, Katelyn, Caleb; and numerous other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dahlonega Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Dahlonega City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
