Donna Marie Spurgeon

Donna Marie Spurgeon, 56, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012, in Suwanee, with her family by her side.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 12, 2012 from the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with inurnment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. The Reverend Canon, Gray Temple will officiate. The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Donna was born August 19, 1955 in Providence, Rhode Island. Upon moving to Georgia, she later joined Publix Super Markets, Inc. and most recently was Customer Service Manager at the Hoschton location. Her interests included her family, gardening and traveling.

Survivors include: husband of 20 years, Trent Spurgeon; daughter & son-in-law, Nina Marie & Brian Kirkpatrick of Pendergrass; daughter, Leah Ann Palumbo of Suwanee; grandchildren, Anna Claire & Julia Marie Kirkpatrick, both of Pendergrass; parents, Joseph & Sharon Castro, Sr. of Coventry, Rhode Island; brothers, Joseph Castro, Jr., Kevin Castro, and Eric Castro all of Rhode Island.
