John R. Crow

Mr. John R. Crow, age 86, of Dahlonega, GA died March 3, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Crow was a native of Vincennes, Indiana who had lived in Lumpkin County for the past 22 years. He was a former resident of Tampa, Florida. He was a retired route salesman with Sealtest Dairies, a division of Kraft Foods. He was a member of Berea Baptist Church in Dahlonega and was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran.

Mr. Crow was the son of the late William Henry Crow and Lena Reed Crow and was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Crow; and sister, Helen Fox.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janette Crow; sons and daughters-in-law, Marshall and Paula Crow, Mark and Diane Crow, all of Dahlonega, GA; sister, Betty Johnson, Muncie, Indiana; grandchildren, Zach Crow, Ethan Crow, and Shaun Crow; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Crow and Karly Crow. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Crow are scheduled for 11 AM Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Ray Prince will officiate.

Interment will be in the Eaton Union Cemetery in Eaton, Indiana.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Sunday from 2 PM until 4 PM and 6 PM until 8 PM.
