Raymond Allen Russell

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announcing the death of Mr. Raymond Allen Russell, age 91 of Cleveland. Mr. Russell passed away Saturday, March 03, 2012.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the Alexander Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Richard Huycke officiating.

Mr. Russell was born on September 27, 1920 in Greenville, Michigan to the late Gilbert and Galla Russell. He graduated from Greenville High School and served in the U.S Army infantry during World War II. He moved to White County in 1978 from Miami Florida. Mr. Russell was a member of the White County Lions Club as well as a member of the Cleveland United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife Eloise Kaeding Russell, brother Richard Russell and sister Norma Laidlaw.

Survivors include his daughters and sons in law, Martha and David Pierce, Canton; Becky and Roy Bruner, Demorest; and Patricia and Marquis Arender, Demorest. As well as five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are requested to be made to United Hospice, 700 S Enota Drive NE #202 Gainesville, GA 30501.
