Charters Smith Embry

Mrs. Charters Smith Embry of Gainesville passed away on Thursday March 1, 2012.

She is preceded in death by her husband Chaplin H.C. Embry, USN and son Cdr. H.Collins Embry, USN retired.

She is survived by her sons, T. Atkins Embry, Sautee,Ga., E. Whitfield Embry, Sautee, Ga., and Sterling C. Embry, Cordele, Ga., and a brother, Sidney O. Smith, Gainesville, Ga., and their families and the family of her late son, H. Collins Embry.

Her cremains will be privately interred at the Alta Vista Cemetery. The Rev. Wendy Cordova will officiate.
