Bertha Roberts Brown

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Bertha Roberts Brown, 91, of Commerce who passed away on Sunday at the St. Mary's Hospice House. Born in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Gilliam H. and Maggie Myers Roberts and was the widow of John C. Brown.

Mrs. Brown was retired from Roper Pump Co. after over 20 years of service. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John Terry and Ann Brown of Commerce, grandchildren, Andy, Jennifer, Ashley and Ben Brown, 2 nephews, 1 niece and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 2 PM from the Commerce First Baptist Church with Revs. Carlton Allen and Kent Cranford officiating. Interment will follow in the Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the St. Mary's Hospice House located at 1660 Jennings Mill Rd; Bogart, GA 30622.
