Paul W. Etheridge

Paul W. Etheridge, age 57 of Flowery Branch died suddenly Feb. 25.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1 at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel.

Interment will follow Friday, March 2 at 11:30 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.

The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 29 at the funeral home.

Paul was preceded in death by his children, Paul Evan Etheridge and Melanie Leigh Etheridge, and his mother, Jean Lewis. Survivors include: wife, Phyllis Etheridge, Flowery Branch; daughter and son-in-law Carrie and Ken Combs, Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Morgan Leigh Barron, Mack Combs, Maitland Combs and Melanie Combs; father, Paul Arthur Etheridge, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Terry and Robert Lee, Good Hope; brother, Jerry Wells, Connecticut; several nieces and nephews.

Paul was born in Hempstead, NY and had lived in the Atlanta area for the past 50 years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Known as Papa by his grandchildren, he loved and was very proud of each one. He was loved very much and will be missed by all who knew him.
