Frances Jarrett McAllister

Frances Jarrett McAllister, age 89 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Bell Minor Nursing Home following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, prior to the service at the funeral home.


Mrs. McAllister was born August 11, 1922 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Milton Jarrett and Essie Dowis Jarrett. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. Frances was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold "Jack" McAllister.


Mrs. McAllister is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Harold "Jack" & Sheila McAllister of Gainesville, granddaughter & husband, April & Ryan Hayslip of Atlanta and grand-son, Daniel McAllister of Atlanta.
