James Harvell Fowler

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday February 29, 2012 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. James Harvell Fowler age 84 of Gainesville. The Rev. Junior Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Fowler passed away Sunday February 26 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Fowler was born in New Holland, Georgia to the late Norman Fowler and Sarah Collins Fowler. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and had worked for the Milliken Company. He was preceded in death by his Son James "Jimbo" Bryon Fowler, Sister Mildred Jones, and Grandson James Bryon Fowler Jr.

Survivors include Wife Madeline Fowler, New Holland, Daughters and Sons-in-Law, Amy and Yarot Castillo, Gainesville, Lisa and Lynn Beck, Commerce, Rhonda and Lamar Hamilton, Cleveland, Leigh and Danny Swink, Maysville, Tracie and Tim Carter, Maysville, Sister and Brother-in-Law Lonette and Jerry Simmons, Gainesville, 19 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
