Lenward Dennis Minish

Mr. Lenward Dennis Minish, age 58, of Commerce, GA died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Minish was born in Jackson County to the late Len Lenward and Margaret Lord Minish. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce and was employed with the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Mr. Minish is survived by his son, Chase Minish of Commerce; daughters, Dawn Morris and Charity Worley both of Commerce; brother, Sam Thurmond of Commerce; sisters, Linda Hendrix of Commerce, Diane Mooney of Huntland, TN, Cathy Minish and Cynthia Sorrow both of Oakwood; five grandchildren; and a special niece and nephew.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, February 25 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Billy Blocker officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Northeast GA Hospice, 2150 Limestone Parkway Suite 222, Gainesville, GA 30501.
