Lloyd E. Day

Lloyd E. Day, 73, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at home after a lengthy illness.



Lloyd was president and owner of Lloyd Day Packaging Company for many years. He started work at 19 when he was hired by Mr. Jenkins to work at Publix in Florida. Lloyd ended his working career at a local Publix here on Keith Bridge Road.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam, sons, Allan and Darren; daughter, Cheryl of SC; step-son, Jason Gray of Johns Creek; stepdaughter, Jenny Goodman of TN.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 25th at 3:00 pm at Cumming Baptist Church with Dr. Barry Crocker officiating. The family will receive friends at Cumming Baptist Church from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.


In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cumming Baptist Church Building Fund, 115 Church Street, Cumming, Georgia 30040.
