Mildred Langley

Mrs. Mildred R. (Millie) Langley age 91 of Commerce formerly of Cleveland went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday February 22, 2012 from complications of Heart Disease.

Mrs. Langley was born in Henry County the daughter of the late Lendon P. and Mary Bowden Rosser. She was preceded in death by her husband John Langley. Mrs. Langley was retired from criminal investigations with the U.S. Army. She was lovingly known to her nieces and nephews as Aunt Bebe and was a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Jerry Powell Dewberry, Pensacola, FL; son, James T. Powell Sr., Gainesville; sister, Frances Hovsepian, Union City; brother and sister in law, L. Earl and Laura Rosser, Nashville, TN.; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday February 25, 2012 at Cleveland First Baptist Church. The Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in McDonough.

The family will receive friends 10-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
