Vivian Sims Ramey

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Vivian Sims Ramey, age 71 of Cleveland. Mrs. Ramey passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:30 pm; Thursday, February 23, 2012 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Scott Sims officiating, interment will follow in Old Nacoochee Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 6pm to 8 pm.
Mrs. Ramey was born in White County on July 25,1940 to the late Robert Clarence Sims and Ruby Mae Farr. She was employed for some 20 years at Standard Coosa Thatcher and was a member of the Old Nacoochee Baptist Church.
She is proceeded in death by her husband William Ramey; sister, Juanita Kastner and son William Trusty.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Andrew Jarrard of Cleveland; daughter Joan Johnson, Bogart, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Julie Trusty, Clayton, Georgia; son Ricky Trusty, Jacksonville, Florida; brothers and sister-in-laws Gerald and Becky Sims, Sautee, Georgia; Doyle and Shirley Sims, Winder, Georgia; Wayne and Betty Sims, Winder, Georgia; grandchildren: Tammy Trusty Thomas, Charity Taylor, Amanda Trusty, Curtis Trusty, Victoria Trusty, Jodi Johnson, Jessica Lowe, Janna Lowe and 5 great grandchildren.
