Mary Nell McClure

Mary Nell McClure, 85, of Oakwood passed away Friday February 17, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Burial will be held Monday February 20, 2012 at 2:00pm at Oakwood City Cemetery with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm in the chapel of 1st Baptist Church with the Dr. Bill Coates, and Rev. Bruce Fields officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. McClure was born September 4, 1926 to her late parents Claude and Fay Hill. She graduated from the Oakwood High School, after graduating she received a degree in secretarial work from The Wades Secretarial School, after receiving her degree she became the Regional Personnel Secretary for Kraft Foods. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Gainesville.

Mrs. McClure was preceded in death by her son Gabriel Russell McClure Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years Gabriel R. McClure Sr. of Oakwood,son and daughter-in-law Charles Alan & Brenda McClure of Tucker, granddaughter and husbands Kristie and Mark Montello, and Crystal and Brad Murray, grandson and wife Chuck and Sharon McClure, grandsons Gabriel McClure III, and Matthew McClure, great grandchildren John Paul, Mark Alan, and Mary Evelyn Montello, great grandchildren Brad Alan, and Arabella Miressa Murray, sisters and brothers-in-law Ann and Lamar Bagwell of Oakwood, Octie Rebecca and Guy Whitehead of Suwanee, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accecpted those who wish may make contributions to there favorite charitable organizations or to the 1st Baptist Church of Gainesville our faith our future fund 751 Green St. Gainesville GA 30501.
