Roy Lee Lackey

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Friday February 17, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church for Roy Lee Lackey, 66 , of Gainesville. Rev. Raymond Latty, Rev. Steve Fenlon and Rev. Jack Burgess will officiate. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Lackey will be placed in the church at 2:30 pm on Friday. The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from 3pm - 5pm and 7pm - 9pm.

Mr. Lackey passed away peacefully Wednesday February 15, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side. He was a lifelong resident of Hall County and was the son of the late Lonnie Demorest Lackey and Manda Jane Armour Lackey. He was retired from Wise Foods and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include Wife Harriett Latty Lackey of Gainesville, Son & Daughter-in-law Deewayne Paul & Dawn
Lackey of Lula , Beverly & Joel Clark of Gainesville , Grandchildren Ansley Nicole Clark and Caden Ridge Clark, and a number of nieces and nephews.
