Michael James Martin

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Michael James Martin, age 59, of Cornelia, Ga. who passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012.

Mr. Martin was born in Hall County, Georgia to the late Coleman Martin and Myrtle Raines Martin of Alto, Georgia. Mr. Martin was an owner /operator of his own trucking company for several years.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his Father, Coleman Martin.

Survivors include his wife, Helen A. Martin, Cornelia, Ga. his mother, Myrtle Raines Martin, Alto, Ga. sons, Danny Joe Holcomb, Hoschton, Ga. Matthew Martin and his Fiancée, Ashley Hayes, Cornelia, Ga. and Joshua Martin, Cornelia, Ga. one brother and one sister.

Funeral service will be Wednesday February 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Jan Devereaux officiating. Interment will be at Pendergrass Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday February 14, 2012 at Evans Funeral Home from 6-9 PM.
