Lillie" Nana" Wimpy

Mrs. Lillie" Nana" Wimpy, age 89, of Hapeville, GA, died February 9, 2012.

Lillie was born in Dahlonega, GA and was a homemaker.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie Ridley and Victoria Grizzle Ridley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Wimpy; daughter, Peggy Wimpy White; sister, Dessie Bell Lunsford; brothers, Ralph Ridley and Charlie Ridley; brother in law, Carlton Wimpy.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Wendy Holmes, Hapeville, GA, Tiffany White Collier and husband Conan Collier, Riverdale, GA; great-grandchildren, Michael Holmes, Aston Collier and Destiny Collier; great-great-grandchildren, James Holmes and Joseph Holmes; sister, Pearl Tucker, Dahlonega, GA; brothers in law, R.F. Wimpy and James Allen Head, both of Dahlonega, GA; special family members, Jacky Fortner, Phillis Cook, and Mike Reyneke.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM Saturday February 11, 2012 at Concord Baptist Church in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 9 PM on Friday February 10, 2012 and on Saturday until the service time at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, Ga.
