Eva Craig Hogwood

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Eva Craig Hogwood, age 83, of Jefferson, who passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012. Mrs. Hogwood was born in Jackson County, a daughter to the late John Clifford "Jobo" Craig and the late Myrtis Wilbanks Craig. Mrs. Hogwood was a member of Living Word Worship Center and worked at the Primp and Style Hair Salon in Jefferson for over 30 years.

Survivors include her children, Debbie and Wayne Norris, Jefferson, Kathy and Ira Sheridan, Danielsville, David and Tina Hogwood, Pendergrass, brother, Steve Craig, Gainesville, grandchildren, Alan and Linda Love, Marty Love, Robin Hogwood, Greg Hogwood, Justin Neese, Betsy Ledesma, 10 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Norris and Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating. The burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park with Daniel Love, Seth Love, Jeremy Love, Jamie Love, Robin Hogwood and Greg Hogwood honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
