Gordon Kelly Anderson

Gordon Kelly Anderson, age 81, of Cumming, passed away Feb. 3. He retired from the Fulton County Department of Corrections after 32 years of service. Gordon was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, G.W. and Cora Anderson.

Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Doris Chumbler Anderson of Cumming; children, Dennis (Karen) Anderson of Birmingham, Ala.; Benny (Carman) Anderson of Roswell, Tammy (Bob) Johnson of Ellijay, George (Stacy) Anderson of Cumming, Danny Woods of Gainesville, Annette Heard of Cumming, Donna Woods of Cumming; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Nellie and Jake Echols of Newnan; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Funeral services will be held Feb. 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Larry Deckard officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday, from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
