David "Dave" Payne

David "Dave" Payne, 76 of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday February 1, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Payne was born in South Wales and had lived in Dawson County since 2007 having moved from Alpharetta. In his early years he worked as an automobile electrician after which he became a professional musician for 35 years. For 16 years prior to his retirement he performed for Cruise Lines.

Surviving are his wife, Janice Inman Payne, Dawsonville; sons, Mark Payne, Simon Payne, both of Cardiff, South Wales; mother, Dorothy Payne, Cardiff, South Wales; and brother, Kevin Payne, Cardiff, South Wales.

At his request, Mr. Payne was cremated and private services will be held
