Donald Clifford Parks

Mr. Donald Clifford Parks, age 54, of Dahlonega, GA, went home January 27, 2012.

Donald was a native of Dahlonega, GA and lived his life for his two best friends, his daughters April and Heidi. He was a true blessing as a father and a role model of love for his daughters. He was a down to earth, caring, Godly man whose spirit will live on forever.

He is survived by daughter and son in law, April and Jeremiah Akin, Clermont, GA; daughter, Heidi Parks, Gainesville, GA; grandson, Eli, Clermont, GA; mother, Homerell Parks, Clermont, GA; father, Lee Parks, Dahlonega, GA; brother and sister in law, Daniel and Joann Parks, Dahlonega, GA; sister and brother in law, Joyce and Pat Link, Gainesville, GA; nieces and nephews, Mike, Jolie, and Sargent Scordino , Matt, Jenn, Madi, and Sam Link and many other extended family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM Monday January 30, 2012 at Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA,

Rev. Danny Jarrard will officiate.

Interment will follow in Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday January 29, 2012 from 2 PM until 9 PM and Monday until the service time.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of the arrangements.
