Sonyona Abee McCrady

Mrs. Sonyona Abee McCrady, age 43, of Dahlonega, GA, died January 26, 2012.

Mrs. McCrady was born in Gainesville, GA, She lived all of her life in Dahlonega, GA. She was a nurse and loved working with the elderly. Sonyona was friendly and outgoing and she loved her dogs. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by her sons, Justin McCrady, Jason McCrady and Jared McCrady all of Dahlonega, GA; parents, Herbert and Sandra Abee, Dahlonega, GA; brothers and sisters in law, Tony and Brenda B. Abee, Conyers, GA, Shane and Tanya Abee, Dahlonega, GA, Kelvin and Michelle Roberts, Suches, Ga.; boyfriend, Don Alder, Dahonega, GA; children's father, Bern McCrady, Dahlonega, GA.; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday January 29, 2012 at Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Phil Gilstrap, Rev. Jerry Abercrombie, and Brother John Lees will officiate.

Interment will follow in Dahlonega Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Friday January 27, 2012 from 7 PM until 9 PM and on Saturday January 28, 2012 from 2 PM until 5PM and 7 PM until 9 PM and on Sunday until the service time at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA.
