Frank Orris

Frank Orris, 80, died January 20th, 2011.

His memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28th at 11:00 A.M. at Cumming First United Methodist Church, 770 Canton Hwy, Cumming, Georgia.

"Papa Frank" was born August 12, 1931, in Endicott, New York to Frank and Mildred Orris.

He played football for UE High School and then continued his education at the University of Georgia where he lettered in football. While at UGA Frank was drafted into the Army. He spent two years in the service and then returned to UGA for his BS in Geography.

Frank worked for Allstate Insurance for 36 years before retiring in 1996.

He was a Board of Trustee member for Bald Ridge Marina Chapel for 30 years.

Frank is survived by his wife of 53 years, Noel; sisters, Connie Hess and Sue Hankey both from Endicott, NY; sons, Ray, Gary, and Sands; and five grandchildren.
