Fred William Bradley

Obituary Date: Monday, January 23, 2012
Fred William Bradley, 74, of Clayton went to be with the Lord January 23, 2012 after an extended illness.

He was born in Rabun County, the son of the late Charles Bradley and Kathleen Wall Bradley. Fred worked for Burlington Industries as a mechanic. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Fred enjoyed church and loved all of his church family. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and the fellowship that went with these activities. He joined the Air Force at age 17 and served his country proudly. He was member of Persimmon Church of God.

Fred was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Bradley and Larry Bradley and one sister, Evelyn Bradley Echols.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years Ruby Jiles Bradley; four children Doyle Glen Bradley and wife Tammy, Fredda Bradley Beck and husband Sam, Fred Steven Bradley, Dylan Garrett Bradley; two brothers, Jim Bradley and Mike Bradley of Atlanta, one sister, Judy Bradley Dotson; a special friend Ann Bradshaw; six grandchildren; two step grandchildren a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends Wednesday January 25, 2012 from 6 until 8 PM at Beck Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday January 26, 2012 at Persimmon Church of God with Donna Pendery and Pastor Teddy King Officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor's Chapel Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the youth ministry at Persimmon Church of God in his memory.
