Judy Marie Woodall Cantrell

Judy Marie Woodall Cantrell, 58 of Gainesville, passed away Jan. 19, 2012 following an extended illness. Visitation will be Jan. 23, 2012 from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Wards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Community Baptist Church in Mt. Airy. Rev. Brian Malcolm and Rev. Kelly Woodall will officiate.

Like her mother Nina, Judy never met a stranger. Judy loved her husband Carson more than anything or anyone as he did her. They had been married for 35 wonderful years. Judy knew her illness was terminal and her main concern was leaving behind Carson, her loves ones and her special pets Gracie and Midnight. Judy's passing has left a void in the lives of so many she has touched. Judy loved everyone and made friends everywhere she went. She will never be forgotten.

Judy is preceded in death by her mother Nina Woodall Dills, Grandparents Fred and Della Woodall, and special brother - in- law David Cantrell.

Judy is survived by her loving husband Garland Carson Cantrell, Gainesville, special cousin Joey D. Woodall, Decatur. Sisters in law and Brothers in law : Charles and Rose Cantrell, Lula, Barbara and Glenn Unbehant, Demorest, Brenda Cantrell, Cornelia, Shelby and Eugene Jones, Augusta, Uncles and Aunts : Gene and Vickie Woodall, Ted and Ola Woodall, Geraldine Gore, Terry and Peggy Woodall, Jerry and Joan Woodall and a number of loving Cousins. A special thanks goes to her best friends Judy Patrick and Joanna Mooney for all their loving attention. The family would also like to thank Carmen Bastidas and Elsa Perez of Rescare and William M House. Judy also had a lot of friends at Davita Dialysis. All of these people showed Judy a lot of loving care.
