Jimmy Lamar Thompson

Jimmy Lamar Thompson, age 72, of Holly Springs, GA, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012. He was a member of Longstreet Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Paul and Grace Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, N. Willene Martin Thompson of Holly Springs; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Brip Thompson of Alpharetta, Sammy Thompson of Canton, Hal and Sherry Thompson of Holly Springs; grandchildren, Casey and Stephanie (Thompson) Norris, Mindy Thompson, Brody Thompson; great grandson, Levi Grayson Norris; brother and sister-in-law, David and Linda Thompson of McDonough; sisters, Jeanette Thompson Vaughters of Dawsonville, Pam Thompson of Alpharetta; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Martin, Rev. Gerral Richards, Rev. Terry Caylor, Rev. Michael Cantrell, Rev. Allen Dixon officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 12 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, from 12 to 8 p.m.
