John Mullings

John Mullings, age 44, of Lula passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Mt Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Perry Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Mullings was born on August 21, 1967 in Decatur, Georgia to the late John Wayne Mullings and JoAnn Weeks Mullings. Mr. Mullings was a Restaurant Manager and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Mullings is survived by his wife, Michelle Mullings of Lula, son, Michael Mullings of Lula, sister, Gina Hunter of Cleveland, sister & brother-in-law, Melissa & Mike Rearden of South Carolina, brother-in-law, Donnie Hunter of Hiawassee.
