Jeanette Hanie

Ms. Jeanette E. Hanie, age 84 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, January 08, 2012 at New Horizons North following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be scheduled for Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend David Skinner will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 and Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 6-9 p.m.at the funeral home.

Ms. Hanie was born on September 13, 1927 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Ben Hanie and Alice Shipwash Hanie. Ms. Hanie was a retired homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Ms. Hanie was survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald & Theresa Hanie of Gainesville, sister & brother-in-law, Mary Alice & J.B. Williamson of Gainesville, niece, Martha Ann Williamson of Gainesville, niece & husband, Mary & Larry Moore of Gainesville and a host of other nieces and nephews.
