Margo Joyce Hardie

Mrs. Margo Joyce Hardie, 78, of Big Canoe, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 5th, 2012.­­­­

Born on January 13th, 1933 in Cleveland, OH, Margo had a longstanding love for animals and art. She graduated from the Monticello Jr. College in Alton, IL and the Cleveland School of Fine Arts in Cleveland, OH. She was the president of the Dunwoody Fine Arts Society and taught water color painting at Big Canoe, GA. Margo was a member of the Big Canoe garden society and she and husband James "Jim" Hardie Jr. have both been members of the Big Canoe Chapel.

Margo is preceded in death by her parents Dwight Page Joyce and Louise Parker Joyce as well as her siblings, Charles, David and Emily Joyce. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jim, son Thomas Anderson Hardie, Ball Ground, GA and daughter Jennifer Joyce Hatch, Sandy Springs, GA.
