Elmer "Bud" Anglin

Elmer "Bud" Anglin, age 80, passed away Friday December 30, 2011 at Northside Forsyth Hospital.

Mr. Anglin was born October 20, 1931 in Hamilton, Alabama to the late Mark and Flora Anglin. His main residence was in Adrian, MI but he spent much of his time in Brethren MI as well as Scottsboro, AL. He retired from American Chain and Cable in Adrian, MI after 35 years of service, was a U. S. Army veteran and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Elmer was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sherrie Carter and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are his son and daughter in law, Mark and Briana Anglin, Dawsonville, GA; daughters and son in law, Pat Anglin Carney, Adrian, MI, Tracy and Robert Seymore, Florida; sisters and brother in law, Norma Dunn, Scottsboro, AL, Carole and Ed Matthews, Kinta, OK; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 3, 2012 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends Monday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
