Myra Lee Tanner Scarborough

Mrs. Myra Lee Tanner Scarborough, 97 of Flowery Branch died Wednesday December 28, 2011.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Scarborough was the daughter of the late Milton F. and Ethel Whelchel Tanner. She was a homemaker and a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Scarborough is preceded in death by her husband, William Curtis Scarbrough and a son, Jimmy Scarborough.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law; Don and Gail Scarborough, Charles and Linda Scarborough, all of Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law; Pat and Jerry Grant, Gainesville; Becky and George Patton, Murphy, North Carolina. Grandchildren, Teresa Link, Brad Grant, Tina Foreman, Melanie Hodgkins, Billy Scarborough, Jennifer Slade, Melina Scarborough, Josh Patton and Kasey Patton; Nine Great Grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Lott, Braselton and Edna Dale, Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 31, 2011 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Todd Slade will officiate. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday December 30, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
