Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs Jo Hunt Stephens

Age 72 of Cleveland Mrs. Stephens passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:30pm, Friday, December 30, 2011 from White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Lamar Collins officiating

Mrs. Hunt was born in White County on September 23, 1939 to the E.B. Hunt and Annie Lou Hooper Hunt. She graduated from Cleveland High School and later from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and was employed with Northeast Georgia Medical Center for 18 years.

Survivors include her husband, Ed Stephens of Cleveland, son and daughter in law, Hal and Jeannie Stephens of Cleveland, daughters and sons in law, Lisa and Mark Smith, Clermont ,Larette and Vladimir Loncar of St. Petersburg, Florida; brother and sister in law, Voyce and Imogene Hunt of Clermont; grandchildren, LaDarryen Stephens, Brandi Palmer, Justin Stephens and Madeline Stephens

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite 1710, New York, N.Y. 10122

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm
