Shirley Ann Mumpower

Mrs. Shirley Ann Mumpower, age 65, of Cleveland, formerly of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011, after an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Mike Helton and Rev. Jeff Garner will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mumpower was born August 25, 1946 to the late Thoyce and Opal Allen and was a member of Redwine United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her brother Phil Allen.

Survivors include husband of 46 years, Jim Mumpower; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris & Dawn Mumpower of Flowery Branch, and Jeff & Liz Mumpower of Cleveland; son, Charlie Mumpower of Flowery Branch; and eight grandchildren, Laren, Taylor, Anna, Abby, Kobe, Alena, Alexa and Alec.

Memorial Park South Funeral Home, 4121 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, Georgia 30542 is in charge of arrangements.
