Earl Tench

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00p.m. Wednesday December 28, 2011 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Earl Tench, age 83 of Gainesville . The Rev. Corey Pass, Rev. David Smith and Dr. Emory Bell will officiate.

Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. and 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Tench passed away Sunday December 25, 2011 following a sudden illness.

Mr. Tench was born in Habersham County and had lived in Hall County for the past 50 years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was Retired Plant Manager with Sweet-Orr & Company where he worked for 33 years. . Mr. Tench was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church for 30 years and was an Ordained Deacon and active in Church activities with the seniors group. He was preceded in death by his parents Theo and Maude Tench.

Survivors include his Loving Wife of 63 years Hilda Davidson Tench, Gainesville, Daughter and Son-in-law, Beverly and Sheron Pass, Gainesville, Brother Leslie Tench, Demorest, GA, Sister Florence `Re, Wheaton, IL, Grandchildren, Blake and Suzianne Pass, Blue Ridge, GA, Corey and Amy Pass, Ellijay, GA, Grandson and Girlfriend, Devin Pass and Natalie Danna, Gainesville, Precious Great-Granddaughter, Taber Pass, Blue Ridge, GA.
