Virginia Chastain

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson, Ga. announces the death of Mrs. Virginia Chastain, age 87, of Jefferson, who passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011.

A native of Jackson County, Georgia, Mrs. Chastain was a daughter of the late J.B. and Reba Raden Waddell. Mrs. Chastain was a homemaker and farmer. Mrs. Chastain was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be Friday Dec. 23, 2011 at 11AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with interment to follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tim Taylor and Rev. Tilly Welborn will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Friday Dec. 23, 2011.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Bo Snelling, Jamey Snelling, Steve Collins, Mac Collins, Tex Baker and Randy Weatherford

Survivors include her husband, Edward Grady Chastain of Jefferson, Ga. daughter Gail Kimbrell of Jefferson, Ga. and sister Doris Wilkes, Pelham, Ga.
