William "Stanley" Tyler

William "Stanley" Tyler, 46, of Clarkesville Georgia, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at his residence after an lengthy illness.

He was born in Rabun County and was the son of William Stephen and Peggy Joan Marsengill Tyler.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents including a very special grandmother, Gennie Bell Tyler.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife Wanda Daphne Crow Tyler, of the home; a son, Caleb Tyler and his wife Jennifer of Clarkesville, GA; two daughters, Natasha Tyler of Dillard, GA, Gracie Tyler of Clarkesville, GA; two step-sons, Jordan Wade and his wife Kayla of Mt. Airy, GA, Joseph Mealor of Hollywood, GA; one brother, Steve Tyler and his wife Tracy of Wiley, GA; two sisters, Robin Tayler and her husband Greg of Tiger, GA and Stephanie Quilliams and her husband Roy of Clayton, GA. Also surviving are grandchildren, Clayton Tyler, Dane and Glori Tyler, and Jayden Wade.

Stanley was a member of the Rabun County High School class of 1984, and was employed by the Habersham County Sheriff's Department. He enjoyed hunting, singing & picking, old cars and was very talented at drawing. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home from 6 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 23, 2011 in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hank Conner and Rev. Roy Conner officiating. Burial will follow Bethel Cemetery.
