Charlotte Turpin Holbrooks

Charlotte Turpin Holbrooks, age 49, of Toccoa, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at her residence.

Born on December 17, 1962, in Commerce, GA, she was a daughter of Virginia White Turpin and the late Otha Turpin. Mrs. Holbrooks was of the Baptist faith and was a laundry worker for Toccoa Nursing Center. She had lived in Hall County for several years before moving to Toccoa 28 years ago.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a nephew, Casey Turpin; niece, Chasity Turpin; sister-in-law, Shirley Turpin.

Survivors include husband, Jack C. Holbrooks of Toccoa; mother, Virginia White Turpin of Lula; brothers, Otha Turpin, Jr. (Carol) of Lula, William Thomas Turpin (Ann) of Martin, Henry Clay Turpin of Lula; sisters, Martha Ausborn (Deward) of Toccoa, Charlene Ayers (David) of Commerce.

Graveside services are 2 pm Tuesday, December 21, 2011, at the Old Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ray Turpin and Rev. Marvin Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 am until the service hour on Tuesday.
