Grace Tritt Freeman Robertson

Grace Tritt Freeman Robertson, 96, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2011.

She was born in Suches, GA on November 13, 1915 to parents Will and Pearl Tritt.

She is preceded in death by her first husband George Freeman and second husband Wilson Robertson; sisters: Treva Tritt Barton, Ruby Tritt Pierce, Beatrice Tritt Lunsford; and brothers: Clyde, Melvin, and Clarence Tritt. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, she is survived by two children: Billy Freeman (and wife Linda) of Hiram, GA and Ann Freeman Young (and husband Jimmy) of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren: Allen Freeman (and wife Brandie) of Hiram, GA, Brad Freeman (and wife Christen) of Dallas, GA, Jim Young, Jr (and wife Kristen) of Jacksonville, FL, John Young (and wife Amy) of Suwanee, GA, Meg Young of Jacksonville, FL, Katie Young Sullivan (and husband Darren) of Jacksonville, FL; ten great grandchildren: Will Freeman, Conner Freeman, Caleb Freeman, Caroline Young, Tripp Young, Mason Young, Parker Young, Kayla Sullivan, Garrett Sullivan and Chase Sullivan; sisters: Ella Mae Tritt Beach and Jean Tritt Edge; brother Donald Tritt; and many nieces and nephews. Grace will always be remembered for her hospitality, love of family and her cooking (she cooked the best chocolate pies and homemade biscuits this side of Heaven). She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Little and Davenport Funeral Home, 355 Dawsonville Highway, Gainesville, GA 30501 with funeral services held at Little and Davenport on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 1:00 pm with a graveside service following at Alta Vista Cemetery, Gainesville, GA.
