Gladys H. Ray

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Gladys H. Ray, 86, of Pendergrass who passed away early Thursday morning at the Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born in Dawson County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Watson and Bertha Pinson Hyde and was the widow of Howard E. Ray. She was also preceded in death by a son, David Emmette Ray.

Survivors include her childen, Janice Fields, Dennis Ray and Kenneth Ray, all of Maysville and Judy Marlow of Commerce; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce. Interment will follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-9 PM.
